Soldiers work together to create a makeshift bridge during Junior Leaders Training at Fort Aguayo, Chile, April 3, 2012. Junior Leaders is part of the annual exercise, Peacekeeping Operations-Americas, conducted between U.S. Army South and the Chilean Joint Staff. Students from 17 participating countries began in classroom studies, learning about UN peacekeeping doctrine and moved on to small team training to build trust and teamwork. This multinational exercise will practice peacekeeping tactics, techniques and procedures to ensure a shared understanding of UN peacekeeping initiatives in South and Latin America and the Caribbean.
