Wounded Warrior Marine veteran Josh Wege stretches to get a local celebrity out at first base during the Wounded Warrior Amputee Celebrity Softball Classic at the Nationals' ballpark in Washington April 3. Wege, from Campbellsport, Wis., is part of the Washington Nationals Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team made up of veterans and active duty service members from across the U.S., who lost limbs while serving in Iraq or Afghanistan. Using the latest in prosthetic technology, these athletes travel the country to play able-bodied opponents to bring attention to the sacrifice and resilience of military service members. The wounded warriors won 17-4.
