173rd Airborne Brigade commander Col. James Bartholomees leads the brigade in a three-mile run and push-ups as the events of Bayonet Week come to an end, June 26, 2019. Col. Bartholomees will hand over command of the brigade, making this the last brigade run he will lead as commander.
Bayonet Week 2019 is an opportunity for the Sky Soldiers of the 173rd Airborne Brigade to test themselves and each other in sports and combat related skills. In partnership with the Healthy Army Communities program, the 173rd Airborne Brigade brought Paratroopers, family members and the community together to build esprit de corps and celebrate their shared unit history. The event runs from June 24 -27 at Caserma Del Din, Vicenza, Italy.
