U.S. Marine Corps competitor Sgt. Durrell Jones executes a successful lift during the
powerlifting competition at the 2019 DoD Warrior Games in Tampa, Florida, June 24. Jones
broke the Warrior Games record for Men’s 72Kg bench press. The DoD Warrior Games is an
adaptive sports competition for wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans,
and consists of 13 Paralympic-style sports, and more than 300
athletes representing the U.S. Marine Corps, Army, Navy, Air Force, Special Operations
Command, and five international teams.
