U.S. Marines with Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 12 hold a change of command ceremony at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, June 20, 2019. Col. Mark T. Palmer relinquished his command of MAG 12 to Col. Douglas S. DeWolfe. MAG 12 is designed to conduct anti-air warfare and offensive air support operations in support of Fleet Marine Forces from advanced base, expeditionary airfields or aircraft carriers and conduct such air operations as may be directed.
