Recruits with Delta Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, participate in the Slide for Life obstacle during Confidence Course at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego II, June 18. The confidence course challenges recruits to face their fears and overcome them. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Delta Company is scheduled to graduate Aug. 16.
