A recruit with Delta Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, muscles through the arm walk during the Confidence Course II at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, June 18. The confidence course challenges recruits to face their fears and overcome them. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Delta Company is scheduled to graduate Aug. 16.
