A recruit with Delta Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, swings from one platfrom to the other during the Confidence Course II at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, June 18. Recruits conduct physical training on a daily basis to stay conditioned for the various events they encounter throughout training. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Delta Company is scheduled to graduate Aug. 16.
