190616-M-YD783-1126 LITHUANIA (June 16, 2019) Spanish Marines assigned to 2nd Landing Battalion, Marine Infantry Brigade simulate posting security following an amphibious landing demonstration as a part of the final event of NATO exercise Baltic Operations (BALTOPS) 2019 in Lithuania on June 16, 2019. Members of U.S. and foreign military took part in BALTOPS to develop and expand upon international relationships. BALTOPS is the premier annual maritime-focused exercise in the Baltic region and one of the largest exercises in Northern Europe enhancing flexibility and interoperability among allied and partner nations.
