A large blast rains down rock, dust and dirt during the controlled detonation of an improvised explosive device on a dirt road in Kahn Bani Sa'ad, Iraq, Aug. 29. When IEDs are found, units guard them until they can be safely detonated so that neither Soldiers nor civilians are injured.
