Sgt. David Berry of Company C, 4th Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, from Fort Lewis, Wash., attempts to handcuff another Soldier while dealing with the pain of pepper spray in his eyes Aug. 31 at Camp Taji, Iraq. Fifty-four Soldiers, mostly from the 4-2 SBCT, participated in three days of non-lethal weapons training to be certified in the use of non-deadly force. The certification included completing a serious task after having been pepper-sprayed.
