BALTIC SEA (June 17, 2019) A B-52 Stratofortress flies over French Tripartite-class mine warfare ship FS Pegase (M644), left, and Norwegian Oskoy-class mine hunter HNoMS Hinnoy after dropping inert training mines during exercise Baltic Operations (BALTOPS) 2019. Pegase and Hinnoy are operating with Standing NATO Maritime Countermeasures Group (SNMCMG) 1 as part of the BALTOPS 2019 Mine Warfare Task Group. BALTOPS is the premier annual maritime-focused exercise in the Baltic Region, marking the 47th year of one of the largest exercises in Northern Europe enhancing flexibility and interoperability among allied and partner nations.
