The inaugural participants in the new Summer Intern Program attend an orientation briefing June 10, 2019, at the Wrenwoods Golf Course at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. The interns also toured the base to learn about the layout, mission capabilities and where their offices are located. The 90-day program was developed to provide exposure to young adults in the local community as they get ready to enter the workforce and show them opportunities that exist for becoming a government employee.
