JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (June 14, 2019) - Lt. Cmdr. Hannah Starnes (mental health associate director, Naval Hospital Jacksonville), Capt. Tracy Skipton (mental health director, Naval Hospital Jacksonville), Lt. Cmdr. John Derenne (a psychiatrist at Naval Hospital Jacksonville), and Lt. Jon Guzman (a nurse at Naval Hospital Jacksonville) cut the ceremonial cake at the ribbon-cutting for Naval Hospital Jacksonville's inpatient behavioral health unit on June 14. Good mental health ensures that service members are mission-ready, are prepared to deal with the unique stresses of deployment, and are equipped to identify when they need help.
