Joint Base Charleston, S.C. – Members of the NATO Military Support Workshop toured the U.S.N.S. Watkins (T-AKR 315) while moored at Wharf Alpha on Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina in preparation for exercise Resolute Sun 2019.
U.S.N.S. Watkins is one of five Watson-Class Large Medium Speed Roll on/Roll off (LMSR) vessel’s supporting the Army Prepositioned Stocks (APS). U.S.N.S. Watkins is returning from forward deployed Diego Garcia for cargo maintenance and regulatory dry-docking following Resolute Sun 19 JLOTS operations near Norfolk, Virginia.
