DIEGO GARCIA (June 3, 2019) Construction Electrician 3rd Class Lanisha Thomas, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, uses a miter saw to cut posts for Morale, Welfare and Recreation canopies as part of a project for the base golf course. These canopies will be used to provide shade and cover from flying golf balls. NMCB 4 is forward-deployed throughout the Indo-Pacific region ready to support major combat operations, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief and to provide general engineering and civil support to U.S. and joint forces.
