Matthew, a McKinney Boyd High School student, is one of the few students across America who was selected for the Marine Corps Summer Leadership and Character Development Academy which will take place at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia from July 15, 2019 to July 20, 2019. Matthew stood out among other applicants by maintaining a high GPA while putting in many volunteer hours into his communities over the past three years as well as taking on leadership roles in his school.
