A combat medic in the Minnesota National Guard performs a blood sweep of a casualty in training while another soldier pulls security during a training scenario held at Camp Virginia, Kuwait, Jan. 17, 2012. The soldiers are part of the Sauk Centre, Minn., based Company C, 1st Combined Arms Battalion 194th Armor. The Lessons Learned Integrative Training was held in response to the company’s change of mission. During the drawdown of American forces in Iraq Company C performed convoy security, they now operate as a Quick Reaction Force in the Middle East.
