Librizzi acted as a platoon commander for Marines from 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force with members from 4th Infantry Regiment, 5th Brigade, JGSDF to conduct a bilateral field training exercise during Forest Light 12-2. The purpose of Forest Light 12-2 is to enhance the interoperability of Marines and JGSDF members while increasing individual and unit readiness in a cold weather environment.
