U.S. Navy Senior Chief Jeff Cavallo, team leader and medic on a specialized recovery team builds a wall of sandbags with Petty Officer 2nd Class Zachary Eldred in Binh Dinh province, Vietnam, March 9, 2012. Cavallo, a permanent JPAC member, and Eldred who is assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 5 in Guam, are part of a specialized joint U.S./Vietnamese recovery team that will be using the water collected from the dam to wet-screen the sediment from the stream bed in which they will be excavating. The Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command conducts global search, recovery and laboratory operations to identify unaccounted-for Americans from past conflicts in order to support the Department of Defense's personnel accounting efforts.
