Director of the Army National Guard Lt. Gen. William E. Ingram shakes hands with a South Korea officer attached to the Special Warfare Command at the Combined Unconventional Warfare Task Force’s headquarters at Seongnam, Korea, March 7, 2012. His visit was one of many on a tour of locations where Army National Guard soldiers were temporarily stationed for Key Resolve 2012, a 10-daylong computer-simulated peninsula-wide exercise involving all aspects of the American and Korean military. “I think the relationship between the National Guard and the Republic of Korea is something we should build on,” Ingram said. “I’m all for these types of exercises and engagements which fosters the alliance between our two nations.”
