"I try to instill the Army Values in all soldiers under my command so that when their service to this great nation comes to an end, they can look in the mirror and repeat Presidents Cleveland's last words, 'I have tried so hard to do right.'" explains Maj. Gen. William D. R. Waff, commanding general 99th Regional Support Command, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, during a special memorial wreath laying ceremony commemorating the 175th birthday of President Grover Cleveland. The 99th Regional Support Command acts as a “virtual installation” that provides world-class base operations support to over 50,000 Army Reserve soldiers, 400 units and 300 facilities for the entire Northeast Region from Maine to Virginia for the Army Reserve in order to give our warrior-citizens and their Families the finest care, support, services and training.
