BASE NAVAL LAS CALDERAS, Dominican Republic (June 3, 2019) Sergeant Andeous Gillings, centre, of the Jamaica Defence Force stands with the National Flag stands between parner nations United States, right, and Mexico, left, at the Closing Ceremony for Phase I of Exercise TRADEWINDS 2019. This event marks the end of eight days of intense land, air and maritime training. Phase II of the exercise will take place in St Vincent and is set to commence on June 14.
In its 35th year, 22 nations are participating in Exercise TRADEWINDS to promote regional security as well as humanitarian assistance and disaster relief.
