ATLANTIC OCEAN (June 6, 2019) - Sailors send a phone and distance line from the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Ross (DDG 71) to the Henry J. Kaiser-class fleet replenishment oiler USNS Kanawha (T-AO 196) during a replenishment-at-sea in the Atlantic Ocean, June 6, 2019. Ross, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is on its eighth patrol in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe and Africa.
