USACE contractors complete a real-time kinematic (RTK) survey of the 15-mile El Centro sector. They are using a state-of-the-art receiver and data collector to interface with a radio base established about three miles east of this location at the western end of the sector. Here they are surveying the dimensions of the concrete portion of the roadbed.
