LAS CALDERAS NAVAL STATION, Dominican Republic (June 3, 2019) Lt. Timothy Hulse (right) facilitates a class about Towing at sea in the Mess Deck aboard the United States Coast Guard Cutter Joseph Tanzanos. This class is held before going out to the lower deck to practice. These exercises are carried out as a part of the training regimen for phase 1 of Exercise TRADEWINDS 2019.
In its 35th year, 22 nations are participating in Exercise TRADEWINDS to promote regional security as well as humanitarian assistance and disaster relief.
