Leaders of a demonstration in Khalis, Iraq, speak to Iraqi and coaltion forces during a meeting to reconcile issues and reopen routes blocked off by protesters, Aug. 21. The demonstration began after several mortar attacks from an unknown enemy, causing more than 500 concerned citizens to protest until they received security and services from the security forces and the local and central governments.
