Sergeant Damian Harrington, a squad leader with 1st Battalion, 66th Armor Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, takes a reading on his compass during the land navigation event of the 3rd ABCT, 4th ID Expert Infantryman Badge testing at the Udairi range in Kuwait May 27, 2019. Harrington and 127 U.S. Army, Army National Guard and Army Reserve Soldiers demonstrated their ability to navigate from one point to another using a map and compass. This was one of 34 events EIB candidates must complete before they are awarded the badge.
