Shelby DePriest, an assistant operations officer with 1st Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, throws a training grenade during the hand grenade event for the 3rd ABCT, 4th ID Expert Infantryman Badge testing at Camp Buehring, Kuwait, May 29, 2019. Soldiers from the active, Reserve and National Guard competed to earn their expert infantryman badge during a five-day testing at locations across Kuwait. In the end, 61 of the 312 Soldiers who began the testing earned the badge.
