U.S. Army senior leaders conduct a range reconnaissance in preparation for the upcoming 1st Squadron, 2d Cavalry Regiment live fire exercise in support of Saber Guardian 2019 at Várpalota, Hungary, June 3, 2019; the purpose of a range reconnaissance is to confirm the leader’s plan before it is executed. 1/2CR is currently supporting SG19, an exercise co-led by the Romanian Land Forces and U.S. Army Europe that is taking place from June 3 - 24 at various locations in Bulgaria, Hungary and Romania.
