The Dredge Goetz crew returns to the St. Paul District after helping-out downstream districts during the winter months. The vessel locked through Lock and Dam 4, in Alma, Wisconsin, on May 22 to begin dredging operations in Lower Pool 4 of the Mississippi River. As high water continues moving sediment into the navigation channel, she is one of five dredging operations in the St. Paul District working to maintain the navigation channel and enable tows making the Port of St. Paul once water levels decrease and locks re-open further downstream.
