YOKOSUKA, Japan (May 26, 2019) -- Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) Capt. Jeffrey Kim speaks with JMSDF Yokosuka District Commander Adm. Watanabe at the Joint Yokosuka Shitamachi Festival in downtown Yokosuka, May 26. The joint festival is a celebration of Yokosuka’s five largest neighborhoods and this year included representatives from the U.S. Navy and JMSDF. CFAY provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, and more than 27,000 military and civilian personnel.
