ATLANTIC OCEAN (May 25, 2019) - A Spanish Navy sailor, assigned to the Spanish Navy Santa Maria-class frigate ESPS Reina Sofia (F 84), interviews simulated master of a vessel, Fire Controlman 3rd Class Thomas Williams, during a visit, board, search, and seizure exercise aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Ross (DDG 71) as part of a bilateral maritime exercise in the Atlantic Ocean, May 25, 2019. Ross, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is on its eighth patrol in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe and Africa.
