ATLANTIC OCEAN (May 21, 2019) An MV-22 Osprey, attached to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 263 (VMM-263), prepares to take off from the flight deck of the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS New York (LPD 21). New York is currently underway heading to Fleet Week New York. Fleet Week New York, now in its 31st year, is the city's time-honored celebration of the sea services. It is an unparalleled opportunity for the citizens of New York and surrounding tri-state area to meet Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen, as well as witness firsthand the latest capabilities of today's maritime service.
