A U.S. Navy Sailor guides a U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter assigned to Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, 147th Aviation Regiment, currently attached to 8th Battalion, 229th Assault Helicopter Battalion, in for a deck landing qualification aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Gonzalez (DDG 66), May 22, 2019 in the Arabian Gulf. The Gonzalez deployed to the U.S. Central Command area of operations to strengthen security and stability of the region. The deck landing qualifications were held to increase interoperability between U.S Army and Navy personnel.
