NSA BAHRAIN (May 22, 2019) Gunner’s Mate Seaman Dominyc Byrd throws a heaving ball line from the Cyclone-class coastal patrol ship USS Monsoon (PC 4) to USS Hurricane (PC 3) during a sea and anchor May 22, 2019. Monsoon is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
