Specialist Michael Barnes, an information technology specialist with U.S. Army Central, sets up a computer workstation during the U.S. Army Central Best Cyber Warrior Competition 2019 held on Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, May 15, 2019. During the three-day event, which ran May 14 to 16, the teams engaged in a variety of events designed to challenge the competitors mentally and physically while promoting interoperability and esprit de corps. The Best Cyber Warrior Challenge is designed to create a culture of awareness and understanding at all echelons of cybersecurity, while in a fun and competitive environment, in order to reduce risk and protect the Army, Department of Defense and personal networks.
