CHON BURI PROVINCE, Thailand (May 22, 2019) U.S. Navy Construction Electrician Constructionman Apprentice Conner Simmelink, assigned to Amphibious Construction Battalion (ACB) 1, and Royal Thai Air Force Flight Sgt. 3rd Class Oran Kongsong wire an electrical outlet for the restroom facility at the Ban Mabfugthong School project site during Pacific Partnership 2019. The scope of the project includes construction of a four-stall restroom, which will provide additional facilities for students to use during school and for local community gatherings held at the facility. Pacific Partnership, now in its 14th iteration, is the largest annual multinational humanitarian assistance and disaster preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Pacific. Each year, the mission team works collectively with host and partner nations to enhance regional interoperability and disaster response capabilities, increase stability and security in the region, and foster new and enduring friendships across the Indo-Pacific.
