Members of the Carteret County Chamber of Commerce Executive Leadership Program ask one of the Marines with Marine Transport Squadron 1 questions about the functions and capabilities of the HH-46E Sea Knight helicopters, known as “Pedro,” during their visit to the flightline, while touring Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, Feb. 29. “This was one of the most personable and outgoing tour groups. They asked a lot of questions. That really showed their level of engagement and awareness of the air station,” said Vanessa W. Lawrence, a community plans and liaison specialist.
