    U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Ryan Pennington, 354th Operations Support Squadron aircrew flight equipment technician, secures the main chute from an Advanced Concept Ejection Seat II during an inspection March 7, 2012, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. Installed in the F-16 Fighting Falcon, the ACES II is capable of automatically sensing egress conditions and mortar-deploying its main chute in less than two seconds.
