Two paratroopers from 3rd Platoon, Company C, 1st Battalion, 501st Airborne, 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, clear one of the target locations on Aug. 9, during Operation Copperhead Road as part of Operation Marne Avalanche. Copperhead Road is an air assault operation focused on disrupting known insurgent operations involving explosively formed projectiles (EFPs) in the area of Hor Hussein.
