Paratroopers from Company C, 1st Battalion, 501st Airborne, 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division and Iraqi soldiers from 2nd Battalion, 4th Brigade, 8th Iraqi Army Division sit aboard a CH-47 Chinook helicopter Aug. 9 en route to target locations in the area of Hor Hussein, Iraq, during Operation Copperhead Road in support of Operation Marne Avalanche. Copperhead Road is an air assault operation that is focused on disrupting known insurgent operations involving explosively formed projectiles (EFPs) in the area of Hor Hussein.
