U.S. Army South medic Spc. Several elements within U.S. Army South’s ranks were present at FA-HUM 19 in the Dominican Republic including a dedicated medic who was responsible for monitoring the health of FA-HUM participants and render aid to anyone experiencing illness or injuries. FA-HUM 19 is a U.S. Army South-sponsored foreign humanitarian assistance and disaster relief exercise designed to build U.S. partner nation’s capacity for civil and military response to major disasters. More than 100 national experts from over 13 Latin American countries will operate jointly throughout FA-HUM 19 simulations and training events from May 6 - 17, 2019 in the Dominican Republic.
