Recruits with Mike Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, conduct warm up exercises prior to a physical training session at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, May 16. Recruits conduct physical training on a weekly basis to stay conditioned for the various events they encounter throughout training. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Mike Company is scheduled to graduate May 24.
