A recruit with Lima Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, muscles through an obstacle during Confidence Course II at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, May 14. Recruits were challenged to practice discipline by pushing their bodies through every obstacle. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Lima Company is scheduled to graduate July 12.
