FORT BENNING, Ga. – Fort Benning’s Maneuver Center of Excellence May 9 hosts a visit of a dozen staffers from Emory University’s Emory Healthcare Veterans Program, or EHVP, which treats post-9/11 veterans and active duty service members for post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury, military sexual trauma, anxiety, and depression. The aim of the visit was to give the staffers at least a glimpse into the rigors that confront troops in combat, insight they hope to use in treating their patients. The program is in Atlanta.
