The competition is an annual event used to select the Eighth Army Korean Augmentation to the U.S. Army Soldier, enlisted Soldier, noncommissioned officer, warrant officer and commissioned officer of the year in a rigorous six-day competition designed to challenge and assess the competitors in a range of tactical and technical skills.
