Lance Cpl. Niko Azucenas, a police mentor with the Regimental Combat Team 5 Police Advisory Team, talks to children before giving them packets of food from his Meal, Ready-to-Eat. Azucenas and his fellow Marines interacted with a crowd of children while operating a vehicle check point with their partners in the Afghan National Civil Order Police. Several Afghan children recognized Marines from previous deployments and spoke with them about what they learned in school.
