A U.S. Marine with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Africa 19.2, Marine Forces Europe and Africa, assesses airspace from a U.S. Marine Corps KC-130J Super Hercules during exercise Lone Paratrooper at Leon Air Base, Spain, May 7, 2019. Lone Paratrooper is a multinational exercise hosted to improve training tactics, exchange knowledge, and increase relationships among allied and partner nations. The aircraft and crew provided aerial-delivery support for the duration of the exercise. SPMAGTF-CR-AF is deployed to conduct crisis-response and theater-security operations in Africa and promote regional stability by conducting military-to-military training exercises throughout Europe and Africa.
