Multinational service members execute a night high-altitude low-opening jump from a U.S. Marine Corps KC-130J Super Hercules with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Africa 19.2, Marine Forces Europe and Africa, during exercise Lone Paratrooper at Leon Air Base, Spain, May 6, 2019. SPMAGTF-CR-AF 19.2 supported the exercise with aerial-delivery Marines and a KC-130J Super Hercules. Lone Paratrooper is a multinational exercise hosted to improve training tactics, exchange knowledge, and increase relationships among allied and partner nations. SPMAGTF-CR-AF is deployed to conduct crisis-response and theater-security operations in Africa and promote regional stability by conducting military-to-military training exercises throughout Europe and Africa.
